We are seeking a passionate and creative YouTube Channel Manager to join our growing team at Tanzania Tech Media. In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and growth of our YouTube channel, which is a key platform for us to share tech news, reviews, and insights with a Tanzanian audience.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a content strategy for the YouTube channel, aligned with Tanzania Tech Media’s overall goals and target audience.
• Create high-quality video content, including scripts, filming, editing, and post-production.
• Manage the channel’s technical aspects, such as optimization, SEO, and analytics.
• Build and engage with the YouTube community through comments, social media, and other channels.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest trends in YouTube and online video marketing.
• Collaborate with other team members, including editors, videographers, and marketing staff.

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of experience managing a YouTube channel or other social media platform.
• Proven ability to create engaging and informative video content.
• Strong understanding of YouTube SEO and best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Passion for technology and the Tanzanian tech scene.

Bonus points:

• Experience with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
• Experience with social media marketing.
• Knowledge of the Tanzanian tech landscape.
• Fluency in English and Swahili.
